Did the tips of their tongues
Seek the bud of another taste
Which was mortal and sweating?'

Sleep Sound

'Bed becomes a forum in which struggles in a relationship are defused or intensified. Sex isn't about performance; it's about a certain kind of communication founded on trust and exposure and vulnerability that can't be expressed any other way.' (Nan Goldin, The ballard of sexual dependency.)
The first bed I ever shared with him was the single bed I had when I was a kid. He was squashed against the wall with his arm around my waist to stop me for falling out. I needed to go to the toilet but was too scared to leave the bed in case I couldn't fit back in. so I lay awake all night listening to him sleeping. I think I wt the bed.

sleep sound was performed at VCA in 2007, first as a solo by Brigid and then as a duet by Kade Greenland and Hannah Liddy.

Just after sunset in April 2007 Georgie carried me across the Swanson st bridge.

Peep

A black man once asked me if I was and angel because I had the whitest skin he has ever seen, he said it as though he felt sorry for me.

Peep is a series of video works filmed inside a peep show where I learnt that my skin is reflective.
